This strategy is part of many regarding Noden's creation and theory- it truly inspires me as a pre-service teacher. I believe that it is the teacher's job to find a way to inspire learning in students by using innovative approaches. In this article Noden discusses a beautiful way to approach teaching an otherwise 'stale' tool of the English language - grammar. ‘Grammar as Art’ is not only an extended metaphor but it also perfectly displays how thinking outside the box can bring new teaching techniques to students that learn in as many diverse ways as they are diverse themselves.
